The Search for Oberon is the second saga in The Trials of Humanity series. It began to be written in early August of 2007 and has yet to be formally released. It is preceded by The Superhuman Saga, and is followed by an as yet unnamed and unreleased third saga still being written, as well as the unreleased fourth saga, The Chromanium Chronicles.

[edit] Plot Synopsis

This second story takes place seven years after the events of The Superhuman Saga and continues the story of the people of the Universal Alliance of Independent Systems and the new threat from an ancient and mysterious extragalactic race known as the Goshoban.

[edit] Pre-Release Notes

The Search for Oberon has been written fully, but is still in draft form. According to George, the series has been undergoing limited reviewing and editing before release. When it has been cleared for posting, he plans on releasing one chapter every week. The date set for the initial release has not been announced.

There was a briefly displayed animation on the Official Hidesquadron Website that displayed several unidentifiable images. One was found that to be a part of the logo of The Search For Oberon, but its true meaning is yet unknown.

There have been claims that this was also seen horizontally inverted, but there is no pictorial evidence at this time.
