Ross 128 is an Expanded Universe story written by Brenton Galbraith. The beginning of the story starts in Chapter 13 of End of the Liberty. What happens in the system is not detailed in the main story, so the side story was requested by the fans.
[edit] Plot Synopsis
After the Imperial Invasion of the Milky Way Galaxy, the USS Pennsylvania is forced to reroute to the abandoned system of Ross 128 to meet Jedi Master Rayne Ignatious. Upon arrival at the system, they find an old Orion-class Capital Ship. They discover that the core of the Pennsylvania has been leaking and needs additional material. They realize that the only way to replace the core material is to take some from the abandoned ship.
